The Black Keys
Hell yeah, I was stoked to rock out to The Black Keys! Festivals are a long day, the headliner seems like forever away, and wanting to get a good spot? Well get your ass waiting for a while. I was so sardine-d in that i could barely reach my cameras hanging from my harness, and I literally had to talk myself down from a ledge filled with too many people breathing my air. I got a hold of myself, and once those lights came up and that cool ocean breeze hit, it was on!
I am terrible with song names, like notoriously bad (not great for an aspiring music writer), but I can hum you an off key version of the songs I like, and The Black Keys not only played their super hits, but I was pleasantly introduced to songs I didn’t know.
And I have to say, I love the full band sound, love the drums being front and center.
