Rogê
While taking a walk around Treefort, I came up on the bandshell where a group was gathering, and there were some very pretty colorful light projections taking shape. I hung around and to my absolute delight I stumbled upon the most beautiful psychedelic samba funk I’ve ever heard. Rogê is originally out of Brazil, but most recently from Los Angeles, brought his hip shaking, dance inducing music to Treefort for a couple sets. I was lucky enough to catch the last one, and with the projections up on the bandshell, I realized, this is what Treefort is about; discovering new to you artists, googling the hell out of them and adding them to your playlists immediately. Bravo Rogê, that was fun!
