This year, Marcus Mumford has been touring his new solo album (self-titled). His stop at Keller Auditorium in Portland, OR opened with his supporting act Danielle Ponder sharing her soulful resounding voice and relatable stories to a brimming venue.

Mumford began his solo set with songs from the beloved Mumford and Sons’ catalog. With those expected songs out of the way, Mumford promised to play his new album in its entirety, and he delivered on that promise. The solo album is a striking biography that presents raw, sorrowful tales of hurt and the impending resilience one experiences when working through past traumas.

The crowd was brought to their feet for a full-circle foot-stomping encore comprised of more songs from Mumford and Sons.
