A wonderfully soulful voiced duo armed with only a guitar brought a rhythm reminiscent Gipsy Kings, if the Gipsy Kings added a first generation Vietnamese-American with an amazing knack for indie jazz.

With a heartfelt story of recently losing their pet dog, one “beautiful thing is sleeping in”…a bittersweet reality I’ve faced, one filled with a touch of guilt, a lot of sadness and just a hint of solace.

Treated by the variety of indie-folk-jazz The Singer and The Songwriter has to offer, I look forward to seeing a full set from them soon,
