Five person band The Get Ahead brought some energetic folk rock to the stage on the first day of the Portland Folk Festival. Armed with guitars, heavy basslines, dynamic drums, and a sax/violin player that when combined make for amazing soulful roots rock balanced with remarkable harmonies treated the crowd to a fun set.
