Lo Steele - Portland Folk Festival
We’ve had the pleasure of covering Lo Steele mid summer last year and we knew we she was to witness again,. We were thrilled to see her on the bill for PFF on night 2. Lo is an immeasurable powerhouse of a vocalist in her passionate jazz approach to her own “folk” music. A buttery voice, driving her purposeful lyrics and tempo driven song “Happy Girl”, compels even the strongest of hearts to breakdown for a moment. She’s genuine, in every sense of the word, and wonderfully compelling.
